• Tomorrow, When The War Began

The film adaptation of Tomorrow When The War Began was released in Australia on September 2nd 2010.  It is directed and written by Stuart Beattie and produced by Andrew Mason and Michael Boughen.

The film received generally positive reviews, with Rotten Tomatoes giving it a 82% positive rating.  Audiences and fans alike were happy as well, with many believing it was faithful to the novel.  While critics were impressed with the detail paid to the action scenes, it has been described as having some “clunky dialogue.”

Tomorrow was filmed in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, as well as the Blue Mountains amongst other places.

It cost $27 million to make, and so far has only made approximately $13 million at the box office in Australia and New Zealand.  However it is still the 15th highest-grossing film at the Australian box office.

The Dead of The Night and The Third Day, The Frost have been scheduled to film back-to-back sometime in the future.
